Geotechnical Engineer

Gujarat NRE Coking Coal Ltd (GNCCL) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for their mines on the South Coast of New South Wales. For the successful candidate, this will be a unique and exciting role to be part of a team involved in the expansion of existing operations into two world class 4Mtpa mines. Duties include ensuring best practice overseeing the design, implementation and management of  strata management systems.

Experience required:

• Tertiary qualifications in Geology and/or Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in underground coal.
• Proven experience and success in and around strata management systems.
• Preferably completed the UNSW Grad. Diploma in Geotechnical Engineering.
